Channel 3, market leader in sapphic series

A prediction that is commonly heard from different market assessments is the technology improvement will change the way TV audiences consume the drama contents; they trend to watch TV contents not as much as before. BEC World or Channel 3, have realized the emerging changes and have well adapted themselves to play along with the shifting market to maintain their viewers. BEC has long experiences in creating over thousand titles of drama contents, such as drama, action, romantic comedy, period, etc., and in grooming numerous successful artists to feed the industry; they are always capable of creating newness to feed the industry.

The new step change in 2024, Channel 3 was testing the drama series that became most wanted recently, which were sapphic series and boys love series. The series were not only popular among audiences, but they also generated a lot of talk about on social media world widely.

The sapphic series features romantic relationships between women, and the first series was the Secret of Love that stars Ling Ling Kwong and Aom Kornapat Sethratanapong. The series was 8 episodes length; however, the popularity was very high among Thai and Inter fans, and it also made both lead roles. Ling-Aom, became Rising Stars in a short period of time, even before the first episode.

In 2025, Channel 3 will have the second sapphic series, Only You the Series, that is still performed by Ling Ling and Aom; nevertheless, they will play different characteristic. Ling Ling performs a highly trained bodyguard role, named Tawan, who will have to fight to protect Aira, performed by Aom, from any harms.

The tricks of the success of sapphic series are the production quality and the ability of the actress, and those are already Channel 3’s outstanding strengths.”
