On October 31, 2024, BEC World Public Company Limited and Channel 3, led by Mr. Charkrit Direkwattanachai, EVP of Corporate Affairs and Communications, in collaboration with Thailand Post Company Limited, HMC Polymers Company Limited, EcoBlue Limited, and Nanmee Industry Company Limited, partners in the "A Million Hearts Paint Dreams for Border Patrol Police Schools" Project, together with Patcharin Wittayapanyanon, Pamela Pasinetti  and Ratchapong Anomakiti from ZaabPlaza variety show delivered 5,000 sets of watercolor paints in boxes made from recycled PP plastic resin to the Border Patrol Police Bureau. These will be distributed to Border Patrol Police schools nationwide. The handover was received by Pol. Maj. Gen. Kanchon Intraram, Deputy Commissioner of the Border Patrol Police.

From the collection of used PP plastic packaging (symbol number 5), such as food containers/trays, yogurt cups, frozen ice cream boxes, Thai rice noodle baskets, and plastic cups (both clear and opaque), since the project’s launch on August 1, 2024, until September 30, 2024, through post offices nationwide and drop points at Laksi post office, as well as six Drop Points of the “PP Reborn” platform, a significant amount of used PP plastic packaging has flowed into the project. This includes over 900 kilograms from post offices nationwide and Laksi post office drop points, and 589 kilograms from the “PP Reborn” platform, totaling 1,489 kilograms. This is equivalent to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 1,535.16 kilograms of carbon dioxide equivalent (kgCO2eq). All this used PP plastic packaging was be processed into recycled PP plastic resin to produce watercolor  set boxes.

BEC Group and Channel 3 would like to thank all partners who supported the project, including HMC Polymers, a leader in the production and distribution of premium-grade PP plastic resin  in the ASEAN region, which collaborated with EcoBlue to produce high-quality recycled PP plastic resin; Thailand Post, which provided the service of delivering used PP plastic packaging from across the country to the manufacturers; Nanmee, which used the recycled PP plastic resin to produce horse-branded watercolor set boxes; and the Border Patrol Police Bureau. Most importantly, we would like to thank the people nationwide who donated used PP plastic packaging to the project. This united effort not only helps reduce the amount of plastic waste sent to landfills, reduces the use of new resources, and lowers carbon dioxide emissions, but also benefits Thai education comprehensively and equitably. It also inspires and develops learning skills for students in remote areas.
