A gathering of TV stations for the Fifth Badminton Digital TV Unity Cup 2024

On 21 September 2024, 6 TV stations participated in the 5th Badminton Digital TV Unity Cup held at R-MA Football & Badminton Club. Channel 3 played a key role in organizing this event.

The Badminton Digital TV Unity Cup featured teams from 6 digital TV stations, namely, Channel 3, Channel 7, MCOT, Thai PBS, Thairath TV, and Nation. The event was honored by Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul, Member of the International Olympic Committee or IOC Member, Deputy President of the Badminton World Federation (BWF), and President of the Badminton Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King (BAT) presided over the event, and Ms. Supida Chatrapiruk, AVP – CSR and Sustainability, representative of Channel 3, led actor/actress, namely, First - Chalongrat Novsamrong, Mint - Ranchrawee Uakoolwarawat, and the badminton players participated in the competition. The matches were divided into 2 men’s teams, 1 women’s team, and 2 mixed doubles, which are full of intensity to claim victory. Also, the event was honored by Mongkol Boonsun, badminton player from Nation Group who won men’s single bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games joined the competition. All players prepared well to win but the fighting was full of friendship and sports spirit. This competition was not only a stage to show off their skills and players’ abilities, but also strengthen the relationship and unity among entrepreneurs in the digital TV industry. The atmosphere was very lively with each TV station’s cheering team, brightening energy and color to the competition. The winning team was Channel 3, the first runner-up team was Nation, and the second runner-up team was MCOT.
