On 25 November 2023, BEC World Public Company Limited and Channel 3 led by Mr. Charkrit Direkwattanachai, EVP-Corporate Affairs and Communications, together with executives, employees, and actors/actress from “Twin The Series”, namely, Ritchanon Sriprasitdacha (Frame), Panya Mcshane (Ryan), Ruethaiphat Phattanonpapangkorn (Mimi) and Tatchanon Thongpao (Team) joined “Channel 3 Staff Voluntary Project: Plastic recycling to retrieve environment” activity at Aue Arthorn Wang Wa Enterprise, Rayong Province.

Aue Arthorn Wang Wa Enterprise, Rayong, is a model community which has successfully fulfilled its “Development, Sufficiency, Sustainability” commitment in environmental aspect. The residents in the community has efficiency of waste management and waste recycling from the waste source and can generate income in the community. The community was granted the awards in 2016 onwards.

At the event, the volunteers learnt the process of waste separation and management, including the waste recycling, i.e. shredded the plastic bottle caps, melts the plastic to make plastic rattan to be a basket and offered to the monks at  Nongnamkhun Temple, shredded multi-layer bags to make cactus pots and bricks.

In addition, the volunteers visited the Rayong Botanical Garden to learn about botany consists of boating to see the natural wetlands, touch the grass raft, experience the ancient Samet forest and cycling to study the nature.

Channel 3 strives to be a leading media company which support efficient waste management and separation, finally lead to reduce waste in landfills in a sustainable manner.
