February 21, 2002 To: The President Stock Exchange of Thailand Re: Submission of financial statements for the year 2001. Enclosures: Financial statements for the year 2001. We are sending you herewith the enclosed financial statement of the Company and the consolidated financial statement of the Company and its subsidiary companies for the year ended 31st December 2001, which have been audited by our auditor, reviewed by our audit committee and certified by our board of directors. The consolidated operating result of the Company and its subsidiary companies for the year 2001 is a net profit of Baht 1,542 million almost equal to that of the previous year. This is even after recognizing the net loss of "CVD", our associated company according to our holding percentage, of over Baht 43 million. The Company and its subsidiary companies were able to increase revenue from other entertainment activities and services to almost two folds, but the declining of advertising expenditure especially around the end-tail of the year had caused our adverting income barely at the previous year's level and the profitability of such other activities and services are not as high as advertising income therefore the increase of profit made earlier in the first half of the year disappeared.
